Tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac in Leicester is the Toor’s family home. Renovations are in progress to create a home for everybody to enjoy, and what is more enjoyable than a home cinema? Oh yes, a home cinema that is so cleverly designed to fit into the home, a stranger to the house might not even find it!Â
After getting to know Kuljit and his family, we at Acoustic Pixel started to piece together everything required within the house. The cinema room needed to be functional for family fun activities; PlayStation games night, kids movie marathons, space to watch all the best football matches and the F1 races in all their glory.Â
This home has certainly been built to entertain. We hope that Kuljit and his lovely family will be able to enjoy it for many years to come.
Challenge:
Primarily, install a smart lighting throughout the home during the house’s renovation.
The bulk of the project is to build a cinema room that is suited to the client’s budget. The room is to incorporate not only the ability to watch films but also watch sports and use game consoles.Â
In the rear of the home, in the pool room, install a great sound system & Smart TV’s for the family to enjoy in a more casual and flexible environment.
Solution:
A wide screen with a vivid 4K Epson projector that will display films beautifully, paired with a combination of Monitor Audio and M&K Sound speakers that will blow everybody’s socks off. A Savant automation system with a sleek smart remote to control the projector, Apple TV, sound system and the Lutron lighting system. Everything you want and need, at the touch of a button (well… touch of a screen).
