Cookies policy

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Some sites rely on them heavily. This one is deliberately light. None of our cookies are essential to make the site work, so we set none of them until you tell us you are happy for us to. When you first visit you will see a short bar at the bottom of the page asking you to choose. Declining is exactly as easy as accepting, and declining does not limit any part of the site.
If you decline
No cookies are set. We still see anonymous, aggregated visitor numbers through our hosting provider, because that measurement works without cookies and without identifying anyone. Your choice itself is remembered in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie, so that declining genuinely writes nothing.
What we use
| Tool | Purpose | Cookies | When |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vercel Analytics | Aggregated page views and traffic. | None | Always on |
| Vercel Speed Insights | Anonymous performance metrics (Core Web Vitals). | None | Always on |
| Google Analytics 4 | How the site is used, so we can improve it. | _ga, _ga_* | Only with your consent |
| Meta (Facebook) Pixel | Measures the response to our advertising. | _fbp, _fbc | Only with your consent |
Changing your mind
You can change your choice whenever you like, in either direction.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Nothing on this site depends on them, so blocking them will not stop anything working. If you visited our previous website you may still have cookies from it stored in your browser; those are no longer set by this site and will expire on their own, and you can clear them through your browser now if you prefer.
