CCTV and access control.

See who's at the door from anywhere in the world, let the kids in from school, never miss a parcel again. Cameras and door entry, professionally installed and integrated into one system.

Most home security is a handful of things that don't talk to each other: a camera with its own app, a doorbell with another, a keypad by the door. We design and install CCTV and access control as one system, built for the property and tied into the same Control4 system that runs your lighting, heating and audio. Security that behaves like part of the home, not an add-on.

CCTV

CCTV that just works.

IP CCTV designed for the property: network cameras with far higher image quality than consumer kit, positioned to cover entry points, blind spots and approaches. Footage records to a dedicated NVR on site, so you're never dependent on a cloud subscription or a patchy connection. View it from any device, wherever you are in the world.

  • IP cameras positioned for the property, indoor, outdoor, day and night
  • A dedicated NVR for reliable on-site recording
  • Proper cabling and power, not battery cameras that fail when you need them
  • Integrated into Control4, viewable from phone, tablet or touchscreen

We don't fit battery or wifi-only consumer cameras. They're cheaper, but they fail in exactly the ways a security system shouldn't.

Access control & door entry

Door access and entry systems.

Managing entry without managing keys, and never missing a parcel again. We install door access for the front door, gates, garages and outbuildings, with Yale at the core of our hardware. Entry by app, code, card or fob, chosen for how the property is used. Unlock the door and the alarm disarms, the hallway lights, the music starts.

  • Smart locks and keyless entry (Yale), by app, code or fob, so there's no key to hide
  • Video door entry, to see and speak to whoever's at the door from anywhere
  • Gate and garage access, bringing the perimeter into the same system
  • The door camera appears when the bell rings, and the door unlocks from the same screen
Worry-free

Temporary codes for visiting trades, speak to delivery drivers when you're out, a notification when the kids are in from school.

All angles covered

Live footage from any device, whether you're inside the house or on the other side of the planet.

A warm welcome

A lit hallway, the alarm already off, your playlist on. The small things that make coming home easier.

Packages by property size

A starting point for your home.

A complete security package, sized to the property: CCTV, door access, a whole-property alarm and the network that carries it, all integrated and controlled from one place. The final design and a fixed price come from the survey. This is the shape of what a home like yours typically needs.

Three-bedroom property

Integrated security, sized for a three-bed home.

CCTV and on-site recording
IP cameras on the key approaches, recording to an NVR.
Yale door access
Smart front-door entry with video door entry.
Whole-property alarm
Every door and window, integrated to your phone.
Networking foundation
Commercial-grade network, with room to grow.
Four-bedroom property

Wider coverage for a larger home.

CCTV and on-site recording
More cameras for the larger footprint, perimeter and outbuildings.
Yale door access
Front door plus side or garage entry, with video door entry.
Whole-property alarm
More zones and entry points, integrated to your phone.
Networking foundation
Extended network with additional access points.

Larger or unusual properties, including bigger homes, gated grounds and outbuildings, are scoped individually. Every package is confirmed and priced against a survey.

One system · integrated into Control4

Monitored and controlled from one place.

CCTV and access control don't sit in their own apps. They're part of your Control4 system, at your fingertips wherever you are in the world.

Control4 is the hub. Cameras, door entry, locks and alarm feed into the same system that runs your lighting, heating and audio. The doorbell rings, the nearest touchscreen shows the door camera. Check any camera, unlock for a visitor, arm the house, from a keypad, a touchscreen or your phone, wherever you are.

It also means security becomes part of how the home behaves. One press puts the house to sleep: dims the lights, arms the alarm, locks every door. Leave home and the system closes the garage, arms the cameras and drops the heating in one action. And it tells you if a window's been left open or the hob's still on.

  • One interface: cameras, door entry, locks and alarm in one place
  • The door camera on any touchscreen when the bell rings
  • Unlock, arm and monitor from phone, keypad or touchscreen, home or away
  • Security folded into whole-home scenes (goodnight, away, holiday)
  • Real-time alerts: open windows, unusual activity, low-temperature warnings
  • No app-juggling. One system, not five
Why Acoustic Pixel

Why use us for security.

We're custom-integration specialists, not a camera shop. A security system that works for years rather than frustrates comes down to design, installation, integration, and engineers trained to a recognised standard.

We design and install, we don't just supply.

Camera positions planned for the property, cabling and power done properly, door hardware chosen for how the door is actually used. A designed system, installed by engineers, not a box shipped to your door.

Integration no camera retailer can offer.

CCTV and access control tied into Control4, monitored and controlled alongside the rest of the home. That's the capability a camera shop or a standalone alarm fitter simply doesn't have.

Manufacturer-trained, in-house engineers.

CEDIA-trained, Control4 authorised dealer, Ubiquiti certified, THX-trained designers. Integration and reliability are where most installs fail, and ours is done in-house by our own accredited engineers rather than subcontracted.

Built on a network that can carry it.

IP cameras are bandwidth-hungry, and reliability matters most when something's wrong. Every system sits on a commercial-grade Ubiquiti network that we size and install as part of the job.

Every camera and every lock depends on the network underneath it. Networking, in full →

Our process

How a security project runs.

Five stages, from survey to handover. Everything is costed against the survey: an itemised proposal, no fixed price list.

  1. 01

    Site survey

Entry points, blind spots and how the property is actually used. The design starts with the building.

  2. 02

    Design

Camera positions, access points and the network, integrated into Control4.

  3. 03

    Fixed quotation

A line-by-line proposal. Every camera, every door, every cost. No hidden extras.

  4. 04

    Installation

Cameras, hardware, cabling and network, installed by our in-house team.

  5. 05

    Handover and aftercare

Tuned and handed over with a walk-through, with remote support and aftercare to follow.

CCTV and access control · FAQ

Quick answers.

How much does CCTV and access control installation cost in the UK?
Cost depends on the number of cameras and doors, the type of equipment, and whether the system is standalone or integrated into a wider smart home. A professionally installed IP CCTV system with on-site recording, and a door access system with smart entry, are each quoted against a site survey rather than sold at a fixed price. Because the system is designed for the property, we provide an itemised cost as part of the proposal.
What's the difference between professional CCTV and consumer security cameras?
Consumer cameras are individual wifi devices, each with its own app, recording to the cloud on a subscription. A professional IP CCTV system uses higher-quality network cameras positioned for the property, recording reliably to an on-site NVR, and integrated into one system. Better image quality, more reliable recording and unified control, with no dependence on a subscription or a patchy wireless link.
Can CCTV and door access be controlled from one system?
Yes, and this is the core of how we install. We integrate CCTV and access control into Control4, so cameras, door entry, locks and alarm are monitored and controlled from one interface, alongside lighting, heating and audio. When the doorbell rings the door camera appears on the nearest touchscreen, and you can unlock the door, check any camera and arm the house from a keypad, touchscreen or phone.
What door access systems do you install?
We install smart locks and keyless entry, video door entry, keypad and fob access, and gate and garage access. Yale is our core door access hardware: reliable, well supported and it integrates cleanly into the wider system. Entry can be by app, code, card or fob, chosen for how the property is used.
Do your cameras work without wifi or internet?
Yes. Our CCTV is IP-based and records to an on-site network video recorder over a wired network, so footage is captured locally and doesn't depend on an internet connection to record. Remote viewing on your phone does use the internet, but the recording itself is local and reliable. We don't fit standalone battery or wifi-only consumer cameras, because they fail in exactly the ways a security system shouldn't.
Can you install security in a home I already have, or only in new builds?
Both. Most residential security is part of a wider smart home project, but we regularly retrofit CCTV and access control into existing homes as a standalone job. We survey the property, design coverage around the building as it is, and install with minimal disruption. New builds and renovations are simpler still, because cabling can run while walls are open.

Secure your home properly.

Good security starts with a survey of the property, not a basket of cameras. Book a site survey, or visit the showroom to see integrated CCTV and access control working alongside a full Control4 system.
