Home cinema installation
Dedicated cinema rooms and living-room home theatre, entry-level to reference-grade, with calibrated surround sound by accredited engineers.
Specialists for high-value rural homes, second homes and holiday lets across the Lake District and Cumbria.
We are a North East team specialising in home cinema, smart home and whole-home networking, working across the Lake District and Cumbria, from Penrith and Keswick to Windermere, Ambleside and Kendal. As CEDIA-trained and THX-trained integrators, manufacturer-trained on Control4, Lutron and KNX, we have designed and installed over 200 projects across the UK and the North East, and we bring the engineering depth that large, rural and remote properties need, plus systems you can manage and trust from anywhere, whether it is your home, your second home or a holiday let. The Lakes is a fair distance from us, so we plan around it: the easiest first step is a conversation by phone or video, with a visit to your property, and the showroom, whenever it suits.
The full residential range, designed and installed for homes across the Lake District. Each tile links to its full service page.
Dedicated cinema rooms and living-room home theatre, entry-level to reference-grade, with calibrated surround sound by accredited engineers.
Whole-home automation and starter systems: lighting, heating, blinds, audio and security on one app. Manageable remotely, which matters for a home you are not always in. Wireless retrofit for period and country homes, designed-in systems for new builds.
IP CCTV and door access, integrated, recorded locally and monitored from anywhere.
Whole-home Wi-Fi and cabling that reaches across a large or rural property and its outbuildings, where rural broadband and a single router cannot.
Music in every room, any source on any speaker, with professional audio calibration.
Bespoke media wall design and installation in the Lake District: recessed screens, integrated fires, hidden speakers and clean cabling.
And the rest: automated blinds, golf simulators (well suited to country homes with outbuildings) and full home automation, across Cumbria.
The Lake District is full of second homes and holiday lets, and they ask something different of their technology. You want to see who is at the door from two hundred miles away, check the cameras and the heating from your phone, let a cleaner or a guest in without being there, and know the place is warm, secure and working before anyone arrives. We design smart home, security and AV systems built exactly for that: managed remotely, reliable when no one is on site, and simple enough for guests to use without a manual.
Heating, lighting, locks and cameras controlled from your phone, wherever you are, so the property is ready and secure before you or your guests arrive.
CCTV, alarms and access control designed for a property that is often unoccupied, with alerts and remote monitoring you can actually rely on.
AV and controls a holiday-let guest can use straight away, with the complexity hidden and the system supported remotely by us.
Large country homes, thick stone walls, converted barns and grounds with outbuildings, and rural broadband that struggles before it reaches the house. These are exactly the properties where a box from a shop falls short and a properly designed system earns its place. We engineer whole-home Wi-Fi that reaches every room and outbuilding, networks that carry the whole property, and cinema and audio that perform in real, characterful spaces. The harder the house is to cover, the more there is for us to do well.
Whole-home Wi-Fi and cabling across the house, the annexe, the barn and the grounds.
Thick walls, multiple floors and outbuildings designed for, not fought against.
House and grounds on a single network and control system, with much of the support possible without a site visit, which matters at this distance.
We have delivered over 200 projects across the UK and the North East, and our work across the Lake District and Cumbria focuses on the projects where the distance is justified: smart homes, holiday-let systems, whole-home networks, security and cinema rooms. Here is a sense of where we have been working across the region.
Smart home and security for a lakeside holiday let. Remote-managed heating, lighting, locks and CCTV, with guest-simple AV.
Whole-home network and cinema room in a rural country property. Whole-home Wi-Fi across house and outbuildings, on Control4 control.
Smart home retrofit in a period stone home. Lighting, heating and multi-room audio, sympathetically retrofitted without disruption.
The systems we install are built on the industry's leading brands, specified, installed and supported by our team, including the remote management that a second home or a let depends on.
Whole-home control with Control4, reference-standard lighting with Lutron, and open-standard KNX for architect-led projects, installed by manufacturer-trained engineers and demonstrable in our showroom.
Reference cinema audio and projection: M&K Sound monitors, JVC laser projection and Epson where the project suits it, specified for the room and demonstrable in our showroom before you decide.
When you search for a home cinema installer or smart home company in the Lake District, you want someone accredited, established and genuinely able to look after a property like yours, whether it is your home, your second home or a let. We are a North East team, CEDIA-trained and THX-trained, and we work across Cumbria. The engineers who design your system are the ones who install it, and the same team supports it afterwards, much of it remotely.
Because the Lakes is a distance from our base, we make it easy: we start with a free consultation at your property or by video, design the system around it, and handle the install in planned visits rather than endless call-outs. Much of the ongoing support is done remotely, which suits a property you are not always in. Our showroom at Mandale Park has everything set up and running and is around two hours away, with the A66 over the Pennines slow in winter, so seeing it is an option, in person or by online walkthrough, never a requirement.
The Lake District needs little introduction: England's largest national park and a UNESCO World Heritage landscape of lakes and fells that has drawn people for centuries, from Wordsworth at Grasmere to Beatrix Potter near Hawkshead, and a place of exceptional homes, from lakeside houses and converted farmsteads to country properties tucked into the valleys. It is also a place of second homes and holiday lets, beautiful properties that are loved but not always lived in, and that ask something particular of their technology.
We work across Cumbria, from Penrith and Ullswater in the east to Keswick, Windermere, Ambleside and Kendal, and the rural homes in between. We bring the same engineering care to a Lakeland farmhouse or a Windermere holiday let as to any home we work on, and we relish the kind of large, remote and characterful properties that other installers find too far or too awkward to look after well.
We cover the Lake District and the wider Cumbria area: Penrith and the Eden Valley, Ullswater, Keswick and Derwentwater, Windermere, Bowness and Ambleside, Grasmere, Kendal, Cockermouth, and the rural areas and valleys in between. The eastern Lakes around Penrith and Ullswater are the closest part of the region to us via the A66; the central and western Lakes are a longer trip, and in-home and video consultations are available across the whole region. Not sure if we reach your area? Just give us a call or drop us a message, we are always happy to talk it through and be honest about what makes sense at the distance.

CEDIA-trained and THX-trained, manufacturer-trained on Control4, Lutron and the rest. Your system is designed and built by specialists who do this every day.
Remote-managed systems designed for properties you are not always in, secure when empty and simple for guests.
Large, rural and remote properties are our sweet spot, the homes where coverage, networking and integration genuinely test an installer.
Much of the ongoing support is handled without a site visit, which matters at this distance, with planned visits when needed.
Whether it is a cinema room, a smart home, whole-home Wi-Fi or a system you can manage from two hundred miles away, the easiest first step is a conversation, and we come to you. Request a free consultation, book a showroom visit, or just call.
